Meeting Minutes – May 2016

Freewheelers May 2, 2016 minutes

Present: Board- Karl Johnson, Cheri Tutterow, Will Beeker, Paul LeFrancois, Cheryl Ivey, Larry Hart, Ricky Tutterow, Larry Richards Non Board- Steve Verdell, Debbie Cooley

The Crit- May 6^th downtown J  Freewheelers will provide subs, chips, and sodas in our tent.  BYO Beer or other beverage (must be 21 to drink alcohol) All members in good standing are welcome; Please bring friends who are interested in joining the club; they can do so on this night for $25.

Corporate Bike update- the first ride will be May 21^st at 9:00 am from Milliken.  The cost is $10.  Info will be posted.

Bandana Benefit Ride- the ride last month to help out Sandy Holliday raised $3759.00.  We voted and approved to send her a check for the monies raised.

Larry Hart- went over the budget, talked about the possibility of this being the last Assault.

Will- Family Bike Ride May 22^nd Sunday @ 11:00 starts at the YMCA.  He needs the FW to lead a 30+ mile ride in conjunction with his other rides.

Paul- Bike Safety Act is still alive in the Senate…probably 4-5 weeks before we get a vote.  Also, he asked for a donation to Midlands Gives, an organization that FW has helped in the past.  A motion was made, voted and approved to give $500.
