Meeting Minutes – January 2015

Board members: Karl Johnson, Larry Hickman, Johnny Ciril, Cheri Tutterow, Larry Richards, Paul LeFrancois, Craig Foster, Andrew Dansby, Larry Hart, Lyndee Shaw, Cheryl Moore, Audrey (PAL)

Non-members: Rick, Dezzi, Kevin Hames, Wallace

Went over budget.  Discussed how much would be set to give to ride support, say 20%.  Johnny states that we should give more money out, but Larry shows spreadsheets to prove that we are consistantly declining yearly and that the Assaults could put us in the red.  We need to be prepared for the club to be able to last on these funds for the next several years, or be prepared to end the Assaults.  We discussed fundraisers; poker rides, tee shirts, etc.

Mountain biking update- Kevin Hames talked about creating a mountain biking group in Spartanburg.  They have gotten trail work done and improved relations with the park.  Discussed them joining Freewheelers and being covered.

Lynde is working on a ride involving wine tasting through the Gowansville area.  Details later.

Craig is trying to connect with other commuters.  Contact him if you are one of these people!

Andrew- filled us in on criterium in Greenville.
