HOW TO GET ON THE MAILING LIST FOR THE ASSAULT ON MT. MITCHELL®

1. All registered riders from the last year's Assaults for either Marion or Mitchell will be listed in the database and will automatically be mailed a passcode for the next year's ride. So for example, if you were a registered rider for either Marion or Mitchell in 2007, you will receive a passcode via first class US Mail for the 2008 event. If you rode Marion or Mitchell in a year prior to 2007, you will not receive a passcode. There is no mailing list or passcodes required for the Assault on Marion as there are no limits on the number of riders that we can register for that event (Marion registration will be done online using active.com)
2. Receiving a passcode does not guarantee an Assault on Mt. Mitchell® number. It is with which speed you get online and register using Active.com will determine if you get a rider number. It will be strictly first come first serve.
3. It is the responsibility of the rider to report to the Assaults staff any change of address from year to year. If you have moved and filled out an address forwarding card with the US Postal Service, you will receive the document with your Active.com passcode. This is out of our control. Contact mr10speed@aol.com for any official changes to be made to your listing.
4. If you allow someone else to ride in your place and the address gets changed to the new rider’s address, then the new rider will get the Active.com passcode the next year and the original rider will be taken off the database.
5. If you rode using someone else’s Mitchell number and no changes were made to the database you would not receive an Active.com passcode. The original person registered would receive the Active.com passcode for the next year's ride.
6. No changes will be made to the database after December 1st of every year for the following year's event.
The document with your Active.com passcode will be sent out to you via first class mail.

NOTE: Exceptions to the above is if you are a club member for 2008, new or renewed before January 1, 2008, you will be sent a passcode and you will have a 3 week window to register for the Assault on Mt. Mitchell. This will be done prior to non- club members registering for the event.
